Services for Clients:
Psychotherapy is a collaborative process of learning, relational growth, and working towards client-centered goals which are identified because of some desire to feel better, have a more enriched or fulfilling life, understand one's decisions and behaviors, or to resolve aspects of the past that continue to be intrusive (to name a few). This process is paced to the needs of the client. I provide this service with respect to the whole person, regardless of race, ethnicity, orientations, marital status, labels (or lack thereof), spirituality or religion (or lack thereof), or social status. I seek to use inclusive language, to affirm one's authenticity, and to continue to expand my awareness through time on how to provide an inclusive container for all clients. Below are some of the types of psychotherapy that I am trained to provide.
EMDR therapy, meaning Eye-Movement-Desensitization-and Reprocessing Therapy, is a powerful, evidenced-based approach that helps people heal from trauma and other overwhelming life experiences. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR helps your brain process stuck memories so they no longer feel distressing. Using gentle eye-movements, or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR supports your mind and body in moving toward healing. You do not have to relive every detail of what happened in this therapy. Many clients find EMDR helps them to feel lighter, more present, and more empowered in their daily lives. Whether you're struggling with past trauma, phobias, anxiety, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, EMDR offers a path forward that honors your pace and inner wisdom. This therapy can be provided online, or in-person.
Ego-State Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) are compassionate, empowering approaches to therapy that recognize us for all having different "parts" within us. These parts can present as various symptoms, patterns, roles, inner voices, or aspects of ourselves that hold different feelings, memories, or needs. You might notice that a part of you is anxious, another that's critical, and yet another that just wants peace. In ego state work, we gently get to know these parts without judgement, helping all aspects of the person feel heard and supported. When we build trust and understanding within our internal system, deep healing is possible. This approach is especially helpful for people who feel conflicted inside, have experienced trauma, or struggle with patterns that seem hard to change. You don't have to fight with yourself to heal, as, there is wisdom and resilience already inside you! This therapy can pair with EMDR therapy or be useful by itself, and can be provided online or in-person.
Sometimes healing happens more easily in the presence of a calm, gentle animal. In Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI), a therapy dog (or possibly your own animal) may join us to offer grounding, comfort, and connection. Animals can help regulate the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and create a sense of safety that supports deeper therapeutic work, especially when words are hard to find. You don't need to be an "animal person" or have any prior experience with animals to benefit. The presence of a therapy animal can simply offer a nonjudgmental companion as we explore whatever you're carrying. Participation is always optional, and the relationship between you and the animal unfolds at your own pace. Animal assisted interventions are best experienced in person, however, there may be times and opportunities for your own animals to enter online therapy, as members of your family system. They likely have a lot to share that may be helpful moving forward.
Supportive Talk Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Creative based therapies (such as art or writing therapies) may also be offered in conjunction with or instead of EMDR or parts work therapies. All therapy is informed by Polyvagal Theory, and will utilize psychoeducation about our neurobiology and engaging with calm. Inner resources can be varied and therapy will strive to meet you where you are!

Services for Professionals:
As EMDR clinicians, we know the profound impact this work can have, and, we also know how important it is to feel supported as we navigate the complexities. Whether you're working toward EMDR certification, deepening your skillsets, or simply wanting a reflective space to grow, I offer consultation that is collaborative, practical, and grounded in clinical attunement. Together, we can explore case conceptualization, target development, working with parts or dissociation, or anything else that's coming up in your EMDR practice. My goal is to help you feel more confident, connected, and creative in your work, while honoring your unique style as a therapist. I am an EMDRIA approved consultant. Fee for 50 minute, one-on-one consultation is $150.
Group consultation is an important component of EMDR learning, as we can share cases with a consultant while witnessed by others of various skill levels. In this way, it is possible to be exposed to and learn from one another's experiences. Group consultation may involve a teaching or exposure component, where I may role model and demonstrate certain skillsets with a member of the group consultation. Additionally, there is a window to ask questions regarding the cases of others and the feedback presented. It can be a way to exponentially enhance the learning curve. My group consultations generally lasts for two hours, have anywhere from 2-5 EMDR trained clinicians (plus myself), and are reserved five groups at time. The group consultation will generally span 5-6 months and occurs approximately once per month. The cost of group consultation is $500 per person, and this covers five, two hour group meetings.
For clinicians who would like consultation and support for non-EMDR related therapy or supervision topics, I would love to help. Whether you're navigating complex cases, feeling stuck, wanting to deepen your clinical intuition, or simply craving a place to reflect, I offer consultation that is grounded in the real-world of clinical experience. I work from a relational, trauma-informed lens and welcome therapists who are integrating their own pasts and healing into their clinical work with others, to find that ethical and healthy edge. This is a space where your questions are honored and your strengths are seen. Together, we can explore not only the "how" of clinical work, but the "who" that is your presence, voice, and values as a therapist.
